Co-Foundress | Sr. Anfrida

Sr. Anfrida, held many meetings to plan the founding of the PRR congregation. At these, they even talked about the design and color of the members’ habits. They decided that the habit would be a white robe with a blue belt, the traditional color of the Virgin of Lourdes. Two local women helped measure and create the new habits. P. Arnold van de Burg SVD as vicar of Diocese welcome this good idea and agree for founding this local Congregation.

PURPOSE, VISION & MISSION of BISHOP GABRIEL MANEK, SVD

PURPOSE

Following the example of the community formed by the first disciples of Jesus in Jerusalem, gather together to share experiences, and strengthen one another.

Taking part in spirituality and charism of the PRR Congregation in the example of Bishop Gabriel Manek, SVD, as a family/layman.

To take part in the PRR apostolate, according to the portion of everyone, whether as a supporter, implementer, etc.

MISSION

While as a bishop of Larantuka, Bishop Gabriel Manek diligently visited and talked at family homes, listened, followed their griefs, and then gave affirmation.  At the end of his visit he invited them to pray together.  This apostolate is now the focus of the PRR apostolate.

Visiting other people, it feels too simple but has tremendous power to create a new atmosphere for another person or family.  Remember the visit of Our Lady to Elisabeth.

VISION

Proclaiming the Gospel joy, bringing the good news to others, especially those who live in difficult shackles.  The question is how as a friend of Bishop Gabriel Manek makes others experience joy?
