Community Life

Living “in community” is an integral part of day-to-day life as a PRR sister. In fact it plays both a spiritual and functional role in our missionary order, the Society of PRR sisters.

As religious, each member of the congregation does her mission task together with other members. She belongs to a community, becomes a friends of Jesus and others, because all of us are asked to be accepted in this congregation shaped by Christ who called us. Where people live together in unity, the Lord is there. We live in unity, oneness in a call to a vision of mission and we live out together the same vision of mission. By living in this way we proclaim that we have become fellow sisters to one another in Christ because together we fulfill the will of God.

Eldoret Diocese

This community is established with the aim of assisting other communities’ social ministries through farming activities. This enables us to send some food stuff to other communities which are supporting needy people.

We are as well involved in Small Christian Community’s activities such as visiting the sick and providing the food for the poor.

It is also a formation community where women advance toward making a lifetime commitment to the congregation.
