About PRR Sisters

PRR sisters are members of the largest missionary order in the Catholic Church.

The condition of the people of God in the local church where our community was founded was the local church where Christianity already existed for centuries, although there were no clergy and so no sacramental service.

The growth of Christians was very much in the light of the mystery of the cross, through the intercession of our Lady queen of the holy Rosary, the patron of their Religious society because of lack of pastoral guidance by a hierarchy, the people of God grew in Christian practices mixed with animistic values .

Fortunately their faithfulness to Jesus Christ and supported by their devotion to Mary the mother of Jesus and their mother. The rapid growth of Christian communities came with inadequate formation in their lives as true Christians. There was a total lack of priest and pastoral workers. There was an urgent need to proclaim the good news and to deepening the faith in the Christian communities. The quality of Christianity in the life of the people was still very limited. Our Founder and His Co-Foundress saw this need. To fulfill tis need was thematic reason for founding this congregation.  This congregation was founded for woman called by God and are willing to dedicate their whole lives as religious for the Glory and honor of God and the salvation of the people.

Based on their education and formation, PRR Sisters live interculturally with other members as well as the poor and neglected. You will find them working with orphaned children, victims of HIV-AIDS as well as youth groups in inner cities.

You will also find PRR Sisters holding leadership positions within the congregation, teaching in institutions of higher learning and collaborating with lay people to advance the cause of peace and justice.
